Breton (album)

Le Brun’s latest album, ‘BRETON’, is a live recording that offers a personal and intimate showcase of his music, featuring songs in his native Breton language and pieces of Celtic music inspired by his journey from Rennes to Dublin, where he currently resides. Le Brun’s repertoire highlights the dynamic energy and rhythms found in traditional Breton dances, performed during fest-noz festivals (“night party”).

Charlie Le Brun, a flautist and singer, presents a collection of songs and tunes hailing from both Brittany and Ireland. Accompanied by pianist Ryan Molloy, Le Brun also showcases his own original compositions on the timber flute, emphasizing the strong musical ties between Breton and Irish music.
