Alexander Liddle 8 keys flute

An 8-keyed flute by the London maker Alexander Liddle, the prominent London key and instrument maker. Made from Cocuswood with nickel silver brushing keys and Nicholson finger holes, this concert flute can be dated to around 1847 and 1879 (London, GB). The flute is unmarked other than the silver keys which are stamped AL (Alexander Liddle).
